Adult Education

Every Sunday, 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM, from 01/10/2010 to 06/06/2010

We're involved in a lengthy study of Michael Schutt's newest book, Money and Faith: The Search for Enough."   The book is a collection of essays about faith and money.  We will read a few essays this week and the time on Sunday mornings will be discussion-oriented.  We hope to see you there!

Class begins at 9:15 each Sunday morning.  Breakfast is served at 9:00.

April 21st begins a new four class series "And God Saw That It Was Good" - which contains video clips from the critically acclaimed PBS series "The National Parks: America's Best Idea."

Mar. 7 - Made in the Image of God

Mar. 14 - A Covenant with Every Living Thing

The class features time for reflection and lots of discussion. These sessions will be less focused on things like carbon footprint and "eating local" and more on taking a look at God's cration in broader terms.

Sunday worship service - first Sundays of every month communion is served.

Guest preacher for December 27, 2009 is Rev. Adrienne Schlosser-Hall.

Rev. Adrienne Schlosser-Hall is a Minister in the Seattle Presbytery and a native of the Seattle area.  For nine years she served as a hospital chaplain, most recently at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.  Currently she is a full-time mother of Hannah (6) and Maya (9).  In her free time, she enjoys training for triathlons, anything yarn-oriented, and exploring Snohomish County with her kids and husband Corey.
